What the LUMRI app does
Photo journal: photos saved by date, scalp area and patch. Add regular phone photos of your overall look too, and compare them over time.
Photo guidance: helps you photograph the same patch every time, and flags blurry or poorly lit photos.
Side-by-side comparison: the same patch on different dates.
Estimated hair thickness: the average width of the hairs in the patch, compared with your first check-in.
Estimated hair coverage: how much of the patch is covered by hair, compared with earlier check-ins.
Graphs and plain-language summaries: see the trend for each patch, with uncertainty explained.

Why Hair Products Keep Failing You
Often it's not the product. It's that you can't see what's happening, so you never really know if it's working.
01
The mirror shows too little, too late
Small changes are invisible day to day. By the time you notice anything in the mirror, months have already gone by.
02
Photos never match
Different light, angles and distance make every photo look different. So you end up comparing guesses, not your scalp.
03
Even a good photo is hard to read
Are there fewer hairs than last month? Are they thinner? Without a way to measure, you're left guessing.
04
Hair takes months to change
Without a clear record, it's easy to give up too early, or keep paying for something that isn't doing much. And professional check-ins to find out get expensive.
LUMRI shows your scalp up close, and the app keeps the record and does the measuring, so you can stop guessing.
See what the camera actually captures
Unedited, straight from the camera, at 100x under its own white light.
Then the LUMRI app takes over
Each photo is checked for quality, saved to the right scalp area, and compared with your earlier check-ins, so you can see how your hair thickness and hair coverage change.

What you get out of it
A closer view
See roots, follicles and skin at 100x, lit by built-in white light, detail your mirror can't show.
A record that organises itself
Every photo is saved by date and scalp area, including regular phone photos of your overall look, so there's no manual log to keep. Compare any two check-ins side by side.
Change you can measure
Estimated hair thickness and hair coverage for each patch, shown in simple graphs with a plain-language summary.
Three steps, every check-in
Connect
Plug the camera into your phone's charging port and open the LUMRI app. On older iPhones, use the included Lightning adapter.
Capture with guidance
The built-in white light gives every photo the same lighting, and the app guides you to the same patch each time.
Compare and track
Photos are saved by scalp area and date. Compare check-ins side by side and follow your estimated hair thickness and hair coverage in graphs.

Questions, answered
What does the LUMRI app do?
It organizes your scalp photos by date and area and lets you compare check-ins side by side. AI-assisted analysis estimates changes in hair thickness and hair coverage, displaying the results in simple graphs with clear explanations. You can also add regular phone photos to follow your overall look.
Will it work with my phone?
LUMRI connects by cable to USB-C and Lightning phones. If in doubt, check our compatibility guide before ordering, or contact us with your phone model.
How reliable are the results?
Hair thickness and hair coverage changes are estimates based on your photos. Photographing the same patch with consistent lighting, focus, and positioning helps make comparisons more useful. Both depend on lighting and focus, which is why the built-in white light matters. Results describe the photographed patch—not your entire scalp.
Can LUMRI tell me whether my treatment is working?
LUMRI helps you document visible changes over time, but it can’t confirm what caused them or diagnose hair loss. You can share your photo history with a dermatologist to support that conversation.
How often should I check in?
Every 2–4 weeks is enough for most routines. Hair changes slowly, so regular check-ins on the same patches show more than daily photos. The app reminds you and guides you to the same spots each time.
